A broken vase

We’re often like a broken vase.

A little bit chipped and maybe sometimes shattered, but life some how still creeps along.

We may at times feel like there is no hope, like we’re shattered to no ends, and like there’s no glue to patch our broken pieces up.

But let me tell you about the vase that fell way down in hopelessness and shattered to a million pieces.

Let me tell you about the One who picked the broken pieces up, who sees the pain, the hopelessness, and the seemingly boundless grief.

Let me tell you about the One who had compassion, the One who picked up the broken pieces, and the One who glued them back together with His very precious blood.

The perfect One who loved us enough to pick up our sharp, sinful, shattered pieces.

Let me tell you about this precious story, because I simply want you to know when you fall way down in hopelessness that there is still yet hope to be found despite our brokenness.

That there is a someone, who will pick up your broken pieces, who will glue them back together, and carry you along with a love and hope that He can only give.

The One who will see that you’re a little bit broken, chipped, or even completely shattered and yet will still call you worthy, loved, and capable.

Who will pick up your broken pieces, glue them back together, and endlessly love you despite the little chips.

Remember when you fall way down, and pieces shatter everywhere, and there seems to be no hope — remember that there is a someone who will pick up your broken pieces and glue them back together.

Blessings, Moriah
